Sonos and Ikea, seen by Variety, are aiming to introduce their smartphone speakers in August, where they have recently released their promotional video. Announced in 2017, the partnership was an attempt to find seamless ways to integrate Sonos products into Ikea furniture and reduce the cost of entry into built-in home systems. The real goal of the collaboration was to bring "music and sound"into the house by harmonizing with software like Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant. Sonos also announced that Ikea will be compatible with birinen Traddfri as its smartphone range. In addition, we have to say that the IKEA partnership is not the speakers integrated into the furniture, the only effort Sonos has ever spent. In August, Sonos announced that it has collaborated with The Sound Company Sonology to create outdoor, ceiling and wall-mounted "architectural speakers" designed to work with the AMP.
